We bought Orchid Lodge in 2018 as our family holiday home and we loved every minute of our stays (both long and short) here. Infact, we loved Norfolk so much so that in March 2021 we relocated to Wroxham from St Albans, Hertfordshire. Having a holiday home just 3 miles from our main home seemed a bit extravagant so rather than sell Orchid, we decided, with some trepidation, to rent it out to holidaymakers. We made some improvements and our first guests arrived in July 2021. We haven't regretted our decision. We try and get to Orchid most weekends and still appreciate the feeling of relaxation it brings us. We also enjoy watching the wildlife and their interactions.
